Newport High School Old Boys has taken a step to reduce its plastic at Yew Tree Lane. The new reusable cups will be launched at the club’s senior mens clash against Oakdale RFC, 25th November. Supporters will be required to pay a £2 deposit on the first cup of the day and then return with that cup, to receive a clean one for each following drink. At the end of the match, supporters have the option to either hand their cup back into the bar and recoup their deposit, or can take it home. We’ve also agreed brand new sponsorship deals with local businesses Country Connect and Malpas Cour.....
